Shia LaBeouf and wife Mia Goth reportedly split after long on-off relationship
The news surfaced after LaBeouf was arrested in Louisiana city due to involvement in a physical altercation

Shia LaBeouf and his wife Mia Goth quietly separated nearly a year ago, sources tell Page Six, bringing an end to their long and often turbulent relationship.
It remains unclear whether formal divorce proceedings have been filed. One insider said the Transformers actor later moved to New Orleans to be closer to family following the split.
News of the separation surfaced after LaBeouf was arrested in the Louisiana city on Tuesday morning after allegedly becoming involved in a physical altercation while celebrating Mardi Gras. He was charged with two counts of simple battery and remained in custody at Orleans Parish Prison without bond ahead of a scheduled court appearance. Footage obtained by TMZ showed the actor receiving medical attention after the incident. Representatives for LaBeouf did not comment.
LaBeouf and Goth first met in 2012 on the set of Nymphomaniac: Vol. II, her feature film debut. They married in a Las Vegas ceremony in 2016, with the event streamed publicly. The couple previously filed for divorce in 2018, with a representative stating at the time, “Shia and Mia have filed for divorce. The separation is amicable, and all details pertaining to the divorce proceedings will remain private.”
They were later seen wearing wedding rings again in 2020 but did not publicly confirm a reconciliation. After further ups and downs, they welcomed a child together in 2022.
In an interview that same year, LaBeouf said of Goth, “[Goth] saved my f–king life… She was present for me at a time when I didn’t deserve to have nobody in my life, especially her… She gave me hope when I was really running on fumes.”
Representatives for Goth have not commented on the reported separation.
