'The cheater has finally been exposed': Sannia Ashfaq fires back at Imad Wasim

Former Pakistan cricketer Imad Wasim's ex-wife, Sannia Ashfaq, has come forward with a pointed response after the all-rounder publicly announced his remarriage, leveling allegations against him in the process.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, Sannia accused her former partner of betrayal. She wrote, "Now everyone has seen the proof. This homewrecker never once thought about my kids. The cheater has finally been exposed and I want justice for my children and for everything we've been put through".

Tagging Islamabad United, the Pakistan Super League team that Wasim plays for, Sannia wrote that the team "has given a chance to a murderer and a cheater." She ended the post saying "no cheater or murderer should get an escape."

In his statement, the cricketer stated, "Above all else, my commitment remains to my children," adding that fatherhood is not defined by provision alone, but by presence, love, and guidance. He added further, "Despite giving my utmost, I am still unable to see them," expressing his desire to be "actively and meaningfully involved in their lives".

Wasim had announced his divorce from Sannia back in December last year. The two had tied the knot in 2019 and are parents to three children.
