Rickshaw driver held for using fake challans

Both were found suspicious, traffic officer confirmed that he had not issued the challan

DIJKOT:

A rickshaw driver was arrested for deceiving the traffic police with fake challan slips. The case was registered at Sargodha Road police station on the complaint of Traffic Officer Akif Rehman.

The issue surfaced during checking at PMC Chowk when Vigilance In-charge Qaisar Ahmed stopped a loader rickshaw carrying cardboard sheets.

The driver, Hamid Ali of Ghulam Muhammad Abad, claimed he had just been fined Rs2,000 and produced a PSID and challan slip.

Both were found suspicious. The traffic officer confirmed that he had not issued the challan.
