Cardi B became a talking point during Super Bowl week after appearing on the YouTube Super Bowl Flag Football Game broadcast while openly acknowledging she had been drinking beforehand.

The exhibition game, staged at the Super Bowl Experience at San Francisco’s Moscone Centre, brought together content creators, musicians and former NFL players as part of the league’s continued promotion of flag football.

This year’s edition followed the success of the 2025 game, which attracted more than six million live viewers on YouTube.

The 2026 broadcast featured J Balvin and Druski as team captains, with former NFL players Cam Newton, Michael Vick and Deion Sanders also taking part. Cardi B joined the commentary panel midway through the game.

Shortly after appearing on air, the rapper addressed her condition directly, saying, “I just came from a party. I took like seven shots. I’m lit. Y’all talkin’ to me and I’m drunk as a motherf *ker.”

When asked where she had been earlier, she added, “I went to all the parties.” Later in the broadcast, she paused and asked fellow commentators, “Am I cussing too much?”

Footage from later that evening also circulated online, showing Cardi B outside her San Francisco hotel interacting with a robot. In a video captured by TMZ, she was seen dancing near the robot before stumbling and falling when it toppled over.

The appearances took place amid ongoing speculation about Cardi B’s presence during Super Bowl LX weekend.

Bad Bunny is headlining the halftime show, prompting questions about a possible collaboration given their previous work together. Asked at a Fanatics event whether she would join him on stage, Cardi B replied, “It would be exciting.”
