Man held for blackmailing women

RAWALPINDI:

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Rawalpindi has arrested a suspect involved in making and circulating obscene videos of women and blackmailing them, and has registered a case against him.

According to officials, the accused, Abdullah Jahangir, was arrested during a raid conducted by an NCCIA team in the Gujar Khan area. He is alleged to have circulated obscene videos of women through social media and WhatsApp and used them to blackmail the victims.

Officials said that a laptop and two mobile phones were recovered from the suspect's possession, from which sensitive data has been obtained.
