The Kashmir solidarity day was marked across Sindh on Thursday as the educational institutions, political and religious parties, social activists, government departments and the district administrations organised rallies and awareness events.
A walk was organized from Shahbaz Building to Niaz Cricket Staidum in Hyderabad. The government officials, teachers and students besides notable citizens participated in the activity.
The public sector and private universities in Hyderabad and Jamshoro also arranged activities to express solidarity with Kashmiris and to condemn Indian government's savage oppression in the valley. Peoples attended a walk in Mirpurkhas from the Commissioner's complex to the press club, carrying banners with slogans and flags of Pakistan and Kashmir.
Deputy Commissioner Sara Javed led a rally in Sanghar district from the municipal office to the press club. "Kashmir is Pakistan's jugular vain and Pakistan can never back off from Kashmir," Javed said.
The rally's participants chanted slogans, drawing attention of the global community and the United Nations towards the blatant human rights violation being perpetrated by Indian army and civil law enforcement in the valley.
A walk was organized from the DC office to Benazir Bhutto chowk in Badin district.
