Climate-smart practices urged to save citrus sector
Agricultural experts have stressed the urgent need for climate-smart citrus production practices to address the growing challenges confronting the citrus sector, calling for adaptive and sustainable strategies to safeguard future food security.
The call was made during the inaugural session of a seminar titled "Prospects of Climate-Smart Citrus Production: Adaptive Strategies for a Changing World" held at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF).
The event was organised by the Institute of Horticulture Sciences, UAF, in collaboration with the China-Pakistan Horticulture Research and Demonstration Center.
