Hasan Piker challenges Twitch ban issued during livestream discussion
Hasan Piker disputes Twitch suspension, arguing platform rules single out specific political language

Political commentary streamer Hasan Piker has responded to his latest Twitch suspension, arguing that the platform applies its rules inconsistently to different forms of political language.
Hasan’s Twitch account was taken offline at roughly 7PM PT on January 29, 2026. The ban occurred midway through a broadcast in which he was discussing the killing of Alex Pretti.
Shortly after the channel disappeared, the streamer addressed the situation on X, formerly Twitter, pointing directly to the comments that he believes triggered the action.
you CAN say nazi pig on twitch

you CAN say democrat pig
you can say republican pig
you can say islamist pig
you CANNOT say zionist pig
the adl which is an arm of israel's supression in the west that works w/ law enforcement & does espionage has made it a bannable offense.
Twitch’s Community Guidelines include examples of prohibited hateful conduct involving the term zionist, which the company has previously said can be used in ways that target protected groups. The platform has not issued a public statement on this specific suspension.
At the time of writing, it remains unclear how long the ban may last. Most of Hasan’s previous penalties on the service have been for around 24 hours, although some earlier incidents resulted in longer removals. Visiting his channel currently shows the account as disabled with no message indicating when it will return.
The streamer has faced several suspensions in the past. A tracking site lists six prior bans against his account, two of which lasted a week each, while the rest were for one day or less.
In March 2025 he was removed for 24 hours following comments he later said were over the line, adding at the time, “Ok, so obviously I shouldn’t have used hyperbolic language, and there’s definitely some ownership I must take.”
Followers have continued to watch social media for updates on whether the account will be restored and when Hasanabi may resume broadcasting to his audience.
