Nicola Peltz reportedly receives $1m monthly allowance as Brooklyn Beckham gets far less

Nicola Peltz reportedly receives a $1 million monthly allowance from her billionaire father, a sum said to far exceed the financial support provided to her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, by his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.

According to reports published on January 28, the allowance is paid by Nelson Peltz, a businessman with an estimated net worth of $1.6 billion. By comparison, David and Victoria Beckham are reported to have a combined fortune of around $680 million. The disparity in family wealth has drawn attention to the financial dynamics within the high-profile marriage.

Commenting on the situation, Marina Hyde said on The Rest Is Entertainment podcast that Brooklyn Beckham does receive support from his parents, but at a significantly lower level. “From what I hear I think the Beckhams give Brooklyn a lot of money but not insane money and they have this dream to some degree that he will stand on his own two feet and become independent,” she said.

Hyde went on to claim that Nelson Peltz had been open about the level of financial support he provides to his daughter. “Maybe Nelson Peltz would deny this but I hear that he said to them that ‘I give my daughter a million dollar a month allowance’,” she added.

The podcast discussion also touched on the couple’s reported prenuptial agreement. Hyde suggested that the Beckhams had not anticipated the arrangement unfolding as it did. “The one thing they [the Beckhams] didn’t think their children would be doing would be the ones signing the prenuptial, they thought it would be the other way round,” she said.

Reports published last year claimed that David and Victoria Beckham were concerned their son felt “trapped” by the alleged prenuptial agreement and by the couple’s living arrangements in Los Angeles. Neither family has publicly commented on the claims.
