Second phase of imam registration begins

RAWALPINDI:

The Punjab Ministry of Religious Affairs has decided to launch Phase II of the registration process for mosque imams, under which registered imams will receive a monthly honorarium of Rs25,000.

Phase II will cover the remaining divisions, districts, cities and tehsils - including all six districts of Rawalpindi Division - where mosque imams were left out during the first phase. The objective of Phase II is to ensure that no eligible imam is deprived of this honorarium.

Abid shahzad | 1 week ago | Reply Respected Sir I am an Imam from District Attock. Many mosque imams in our area have still not received the honorarium. According to the announcement Phase II includes all districts of Rawalpindi Division including Attock. Kindly clarify when the registration and payments for Phase II will start in Attock so that eligible imams can receive their monthly honorarium of Rs 25 000. Thank you.
