Season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is officially in development and is expected to premiere in 2026 on Disney+. The popular fantasy series, based on Rick Riordan’s bestselling novels, will continue the story following the dramatic events of Season 2.

The upcoming season will adapt The Titan’s Curse, the third book in the series, which marks a major turning point for Percy Jackson and his fellow demigods. After the Season 2 finale revealed that Thalia Grace had been resurrected by the Golden Fleece, the new season will follow Percy, Annabeth and Grover as they set out on a dangerous quest to rescue the goddess Artemis before a critical vote by the Olympian Council.

Walker Scobell will return as Percy Jackson, alongside Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase and Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood. Season 3 will also introduce several new characters, including Dafne Keen as Artemis, Olive Abercrombie and Levi Chrisopulos as siblings Bianca and Nico di Angelo, and Kate McKinnon as Aphrodite.

Filming for the new season began in Vancouver in August 2025, with the creative team aiming for a shorter gap between seasons than fans experienced previously. Producers have indicated that Season 3 will feature higher stakes, more emotional depth and increasingly mature themes as Percy’s journey and the Great Prophecy continue to unfold.

The first two seasons of Percy Jackson and the Olympians are currently available to stream, allowing viewers to catch up ahead of the highly anticipated third installment.
