Percy Jackson and the Olympians may be set to continue beyond its currently announced run, with a new report suggesting the Disney+ series has already been renewed for a fourth season.
On January 22, 2026, X user @MyTimeToShineHello claimed that Percy Jackson and the Olympians had secured a Season 4 renewal, despite the third season not yet airing. Disney has not confirmed the report, and no official announcement has been made regarding a fourth season.
The series recently concluded its second season, with all episodes now available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu. A preview shown during the Season 2 finale credits confirmed that Season 3 is in development and will premiere in 2026. Production on the upcoming season is currently underway in Vancouver.
Monica Mercuri of Forbes reported that the turnaround for Season 3 is expected to be shorter than the two-year gap between the first two seasons. While a specific release date has not been disclosed, the season is anticipated to arrive in late 2026.
Season 3 will adapt The Titan’s Curse, the third novel in Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson book series. According to Riordan’s official website, the story follows Grover as he uncovers “two powerful half-bloods whose parentage is unknown,” while the goddess Artemis disappears.
Percy, Annabeth and the Hunters of Artemis must locate her and prevent a threat capable of destroying Olympus, all while confronting “the chilling prophecy of the titan’s curse.”
The Season 2 finale introduced a significant deviation from the source material. Chiron reveals that Zeus transformed Thalia into a pine tree after she refused to be used in the conflict against Kronos, a change from the book’s events. Percy also begins questioning whether Thalia is the child referenced in the Great Prophecy.
Walker Scobell told Variety, “I almost feel like there’s less pressure, because I don’t think there’s anything to really compare it to.” Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri are set to return for Season 3.
At present, Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 4 remains unconfirmed by Disney+.
