Katy Perry joins boyfriend Justin Trudeau at World Economic Forum in Davos
The couple first sparked romance rumours in 2025 after being spotted together in Montreal

Katy Perry made a rare public appearance alongside her boyfriend, former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, as she joined him at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
The pop star was seen sitting in the audience as Trudeau delivered a keynote speech at the global summit, marking one of the couple’s most high-profile appearances together since their relationship became public. Perry appeared relaxed and supportive as she watched Trudeau address world leaders, business executives and policymakers.
During his speech, Trudeau spoke about the changing global landscape and the importance of diplomacy and cooperation, arguing that the post-World War II era of stability has come to an end. “The 80 years of stability and prosperity that the world has seen since the end of the horrors of World War Two is over,” he said. “That era is done. We are now in a transition period where we are creating the new world we live in.”
Trudeau also shared a light-hearted personal anecdote, referencing a recent date with “an American girl” at a rooftop bar in Montreal. “She ordered a Jack and Coke,” he said, recalling how the server informed them there was no American alcohol left — a moment he used to illustrate cultural exchange and solidarity.
Perry and Trudeau were later photographed arriving together at the forum, holding hands as they entered the event. Their appearance drew attention as Davos brought together political leaders, celebrities and global influencers for discussions on international cooperation, economics and climate change.
The couple first sparked romance rumours in 2025 after being spotted together in Montreal. Perry later confirmed the relationship publicly, sharing photos from time spent together. Since then, they have kept much of their relationship private while occasionally appearing together at major events.
Perry shares a daughter, Daisy Dove, with ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom, while Trudeau shares three children with his former wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau. Both have spoken in the past about prioritising family while navigating life in the public eye.
Their joint appearance at the World Economic Forum highlighted the growing intersection of politics and popular culture, with Perry lending visible support as Trudeau returned to the global stage at one of the world’s most influential gatherings.
