Thieves steal over Rs7 million from Lodhran shops

A gang of burglars broke into three shops in Lodhran in a single night, making off with over Rs7 million in cash and imported perfumes, police reported on Monday.
The thefts occurred in a market near City Police Station, targeting Pohsak Mahal, Ibn-e-Zainat Pharmacy, and Bukhari Fabrics.
According to police, the incident took place in the early hours between Saturday and Sunday.
The unknown suspects reportedly gained access to the shops via rooftops.
From Ibn-e-Zainat Pharmacy, the thieves allegedly stole around Rs6 lakh in cash, while Bukhari Fabrics was hit for approximately Rs60 lakh in cash, and Pohsak Mahal suffered a loss of about Rs150,000 in cash.
The burglars also reportedly took valuable imported perfumes during their escape.
The incident was reported to police emergency line 15, and officers reached the scene to conduct a detailed investigation.
City Police have registered cases and launched inquiries to identify and apprehend the suspects.
