Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has responded to a viral photo showing his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, supporting the Denver Broncos during the 2016 Super Bowl, as the image continues to circulate online.

The photograph resurfaced more than a month after the couple announced they are expecting their first child together.

It shows Steinfeld attending the Super Bowl in Broncos gear, years before her relationship with Allen. The image gained renewed attention ahead of the Buffalo Bills’ NFL playoff game against the Broncos on January 17.

Speaking to CBS Sports’ Tracy Wolfson, Allen said he had “no idea it was floating around”. Wolfson later shared details of the exchange in a post on X on January 15, noting that Allen laughed when asked about the image.

According to Wolfson, he suggested Steinfeld was “probably paid” to attend the game, which ended with the Broncos defeating the Carolina Panthers, and added that he “definitely wasn’t going to bring it up at home”.

Steinfeld has since publicly shown her support for the Bills. In 2023, she attended one of Allen’s games wearing a Buffalo Bills jersey, marking her first appearance at a game since confirming their relationship.

The actress has spoken on several occasions about supporting Allen’s career. In an interview with E! News in January last year, she said, “To say the least, I am so proud of that man,” adding that he is “the hardest working person I know”.

She later told Variety in October that she organises her schedule to be present during the NFL season, saying, “I try to organise my time so I can be where he is”.

Allen and Steinfeld married in May 2025. In December 2025, they announced they were expecting their first child, sharing the news through a maternity shoot published on Steinfeld’s Beau Society Substack.
