RLNG prices reduced up to 5.3% for January
Revised tariffs apply to consumers of both Sui gas companies

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has slashed prices of re-gasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) up to 5.3% effective from January 1, 2026. The revised tariffs will apply to consumers of both transmission and distribution segments of the two state-owned gas utilities. Ogra took the decision in line with the federal government's policy guidelines.
According to a notification issued by the regulator, the RLNG transmission prices for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) were fixed at $10.4136 per million British thermal units (mmBtu) for January against $10.9186 in December 2025, reflecting a month-on-month decrease of $0.5050, or 4.62%.
SNGPL's distribution price for RLNG was set at $11.2743 per mmBtu for January against $11.8280 in December, registering a decrease of $0.5537, or 4.68%, according to Ogra's determination.
For Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), the regulator fixed RLNG transmission prices at $8.9770 per mmBtu for January, down from $9.4741 per mmBtu for December 2025, showing a reduction of $0.4971, or 5.25%. SSGC's distribution price for RLNG was calculated at $10.2099 per mmBtu for January against the previous month's rate of $10.7767 per mmBtu, down $0.5668, or 5.26%.
