BTS announces world tour featuring 360-degree stage and expanded global venues
The official announcement of the BTS World Tour has generated widespread attention online, with fans beginning preparations for what will be the group’s first tour in four years.
The South Korean group last toured between 2021 and 2022 with the Permission to Dance on Stage stadium concerts in Seoul, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.
This upcoming tour also marks BTS’ first full-group return to the stage since their Yet to Come in Busan concert in 2022 and follows the completion of the members’ mandatory military service between 2022 and 2025. At the Busan concert, BTS debuted "Run BTS", "For Youth", and "Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)", making the prospect of hearing new live performances particularly anticipated.
Media reports describe the tour as one of the largest K-pop tours to date. BTS is scheduled to perform across 34 regions on five continents, with 79 shows announced so far and additional dates expected. The tour will open in April with three shows in Goyang, South Korea, before moving through Asia, North America, and Europe.

BTS will headline Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso, Texas, and Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, marking the first K-pop headline concerts in both cities. The group will also become the second act to perform at Stanford Stadium in California after Coldplay, and will make first-ever tour stops in Madrid and Brussels.
A notable feature of the tour is a 360-degree stage design. Live Nation stated this configuration places the audience at the centre of the experience while increasing venue capacity, making it the first stadium tour to adopt such a setup.
Ticket access will include presales for ARMY Membership holders via Weverse, alongside general sales scheduled later in January.
