Many private schools ignoring revised winter timings
.

Several private schools in Karachi have allegedly failed to comply with the Sindh government's directive regarding revised school timings during the winter season, prompting the Directorate of Private Institutions Sindh to take notice and issue a formal warning.
Despite the cold weather, many private schools across the city reportedly continued operating on their previous schedules on Monday, starting classes at around 8am. As a result, thousands of students were unable to benefit from the Sindh government's notification on revised school timings and were forced to leave for school as early as 7am or 7:30am amid chilly conditions. Following reports of non-compliance, the Directorate of Private Institutions Sindh issued a circular to private schools, warning their administrations to strictly follow the notification issued by the School Education Department. According to the directive, all educational institutions are required to operate from 9am between January 12 and January 26. The Directorate received complaints against several well-known and large private schools for not observing the new schedule.
