Three killed, 12 injured in road crash

At least three people were killed and 12 others injured when a speeding car collided with a passenger van at Chani Syedaan in Bhera on Monday.
The Rescue 1122 said the van was going to Sargodha from Malikwal when it collided with the car.
As a result, Ashraf, aged 55, Zubaira Bibi, 36, and Yousaf, 42, died on the spot while Bashir, Zahida Bibi, Muhmmad Naeem and several others suffered injuries.
On receiving information about the incident, police and Rescue 1122 teams reached the spot and shifted the bodies and injured to a local hospital.
At least 12 people died, whereas 1,319 were injured in 1,154 Road Traffic Crashes (RTCs) in Punjab during the last 24 hours.
