The chill is being driven by cold winds blowing from Quetta and northeastern parts of Balochistan, which have kept Karachi’s weather unusually frigid.
Meanwhile, rural Sindh witnessed even harsher conditions. In Mithi, the mercury plunged to 1 Celsius, while Padidan and Mohenjo Daro recorded minimum temperatures of 2 Celsius.
Meteorologists warned that the cold spell is likely to continue, urging citizens to brace for further discomfort in the coming days.
