Hamza Khan wins Mr Rawalpindi title at district bodybuilding championship

Hamza Khan clinched the Mr Rawalpindi title as district-level bodybuilding championships were held at the Rawalpindi Arts Council auditorium, organisers said on Tuesday.
The event, organised by the Rawalpindi District Bodybuilding Association, also featured competitions for Junior Mr Rawalpindi, Mr Physique and Junior Mr Physique, drawing athletes, gym owners and bodybuilding enthusiasts from across the city.
According to the results, Muneeb-ur-Rehman won the Junior Mr Rawalpindi title, Samiullah Niazi secured the Mr Physique crown, while Raja Muhammad Ali claimed the Junior Mr Physique title.
Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Chaudhry Usama Tanveer attended the event as chief guest and praised the standard of competition.
“All the athletes who took part in these competitions deserve congratulations, and their efforts serve as a guiding light for other young people,” Tanveer said.
He stressed the importance of sports alongside education, saying, “For managing life’s challenges effectively, it is essential to have a healthy body along with a healthy mind.”
Tanveer also lauded the organisers for successfully staging the event and assured his full support for the promotion of sports.
President of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Usman Shaukat, along with officials of the Rawalpindi District Bodybuilding Association, also attended the ceremony.
Judging duties were performed by former Mr Pakistan and former Mr Olympia Jabar Ali, former Mr Rawalpindi Bilal Malik and former Mr Rawalpindi Jameel Ahmed Qureshi.
At the conclusion of the competitions, cash prizes and trophies were distributed among the winners, while all participating athletes also received awards, organisers said.
