Another stalking incident involving BTS member Jungkook has been reported after police arrested a woman accused of causing a disturbance at his home in Seoul.

On Sunday, January 4, 2026, the Seoul Yongsan Police Station apprehended a Brazilian woman in her 30s, identified as Ms A, for violating the Act on the Punishment of Crime of Stalking. According to reports, she approached Jungkook’s residence in Yongsan-gu and caused a disturbance by throwing mail onto the property.

Police confirmed that this was not Ms A’s first encounter with authorities. She was reportedly arrested twice in December 2025 for visiting the same location and causing disturbances outside the singer’s home. Following those incidents, Jungkook’s representatives requested an official restraining order against her. The police are continuing their investigation into the repeated visits and associated behaviour.

The latest arrest comes after a year in which Jungkook faced several home intrusion and stalking cases. In June 2025, one day after his discharge from mandatory military service, a Chinese woman in her 30s was arrested for attempting to break into his home. Later, on August 31, 2025, another Korean woman was booked by police for allegedly trying to enter the property.

Fans have reacted with anger and concern over the repeated incidents, criticising the invasion of the artist’s privacy and raising questions about his personal safety. Many have urged HYBE and BIGHIT MUSIC to pursue stronger legal measures against stalkers, while the situation has also fuelled wider discussion about parasocial behaviour within K-pop fandoms.

Despite the ongoing concerns, BTS are preparing for their long-awaited group comeback. BIGHIT MUSIC recently confirmed that the band will release a full-length album on March 20, 2026, with details of an accompanying world tour scheduled to be annou
