Greed takes over in Mahira and Fahad's new thriller
First look at 'Aag Lagay Basti Mein' promises crisis, confusion, and chaos

Pakistani actors Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan have finally lifted the curtain on their mysterious project 'ALBM', confirming it stands for 'Aag Lagay Basti Mein' as the crime-tinged teaser arrived online ahead of its Eidul Fitr 2026 release.
Shared simultaneously by the stars on Instagram, the clip carries the line: "Crisis ignites. Confusion explodes. Chaos takes over..." Javed Sheikh and Tabish Hashmi also star in the film.
The teaser opens with the fable of a woodcutter whose golden-egg-laying hen cannot satisfy growing greed. The parable quickly cuts to Khan and Mustafa as cleaners whose apparent chance at easy money spirals into a dangerous heist.
From car chases to gangsters closing in, the montage hints at jars of hidden savings, fractured trust and flashes of violence, including one scene where Khan bites an attacker's arm, while Sheikh's looming presence suggests powerful figures watching from above.
Hashmi appears to stalk through a blood-soaked setting in the closing shot, underscoring that the film, though playful, is not merely a light-hearted caper but a story about greed and unintended consequences when survival becomes something darker.
Directed and written by Bilal Atif Khan, 'Aag Lagay Basti Mein' also marks a big-screen move for Big Bang Entertainment, long known for TV dramas, with the release scheduled for cinemas across Pakistan during Eidul Fitr 2026.
With both leads commanding huge followings, the unveiling of the project's full name has ended weeks of speculation around the initials 'ALBM', and fuelled expectations that the pair will ignite the holiday box office when the film opens.
