PESHAWAR:

A class-two student injured in the Monday’s remote control bomb blast in Nishatarabad died at the Lady Reading Hospital on Thursday, bringing the death toll to seven. Haseeb was a student of class two at Islamia Public School. According to Haseeb’s father Abdul Manan, they were on their way to attend a wedding at Purdah Bagh in Shahi Bagh. Manan said the car developed a technical fault while they were on their way, and the blast took place while he was trying to repair the vehicle. The blast injured Haseeb, along with other family members. The bomb went off at the city’s Nishtarabad locality on the Grand Trunk Road on Monday night, which is the largest CD producing centre in the province.
