Actress Odessa A’zion has publicly denied online accusations that she is a Zionist after a resurfaced image from her past sparked debate on social platforms.

The I Love LA and Marty Supreme star addressed claims linked to a 2017 online listing showing her selling a T-shirt bearing an Israeli Defence Forces logo, prompting speculation about her beliefs and political stance.

The discussion intensified after the screenshot circulated widely, with some viewers questioning whether it reflected her personal ideology. In response to the speculation, A’zion left a comment on an Instagram reel discussing the image, stating simply, “not a zio.”

Observers also noted that the conversation shifted beyond the image itself to her name and background. A’zion was born Odessa Adlon and adopted the stage name Odessa A’zion by combining her middle name 'Zion' with her family name 'Adlon'.

Following the backlash, A'zion further clarified her stance.

Supporters on social media urged critics to consider that political beliefs cannot be inferred solely from a name or a past photo. Some defended her right to reject the claims without providing an extended explanation.

Despite the controversy, A’zion’s focus appears to remain on her acting career, with no further engagement in the debate beyond her brief denial
