Christmas prep gives capital festive look

RAWALPINDI:

Preparations for Christmas and Happy New Year have reached its peak in the twin cities.

On the eve of Christmas, tonight, churches will remain open all evening. There will be prayers all night long. Markets, bazaars, commercial centres and plazas in the twin cities will remain open till 2 am for Christmas shopping. All the churches have started sparkling with beautiful decorations.

Churches and Christian colonies have been provided with foolproof security. The Christian community is happy with the steps taken by IG Islamabad, DIG, SSP and Rawalpindi CP as well as the zeal and zest shown by Christian patriots.

"The green colour in the national flag along with the white colour belongs to our minorities," said IGP.
