Disney+ has announced a schedule change for the final episodes of Taylor Swift’s docuseries The End of an Era, moving the release date to ahead of Christmas.

The last two episodes of the six-part series will now premiere on the streaming service on December 23 at 12 a.m. PT, three days earlier than previously anticipated.

The announcement was shared by Disney+ on social media, describing the shift as an early gift for fans worldwide. While Disney+ had not officially confirmed the exact dates for the later episode batches, multiple Disney-owned outlets had earlier reported that the docuseries would conclude on December 26. The updated schedule accelerates the conclusion of the series and places its finale just before the holiday period.

The docuseries initially debuted with its first two episodes on December 12. Episodes three and four remain scheduled for release on December 19 at midnight PT, according to Disney+. The revised timeline allows viewers to complete the series before Christmas rather than during the holiday itself.

The End of an Era documents Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour and offers behind-the-scenes access to the production, performances, and personal moments tied to the global tour. A preview of the middle episodes, aired on Good Morning America, includes Swift discussing tour wardrobe changes and continuing performances despite injuries during live shows.

The first two episodes were met with strong reactions from fans and critics. Early reviews highlighted the series’ emotional tone and its focus not only on Swift but also on the supporting performers and crew involved in the tour. With the finale now arriving earlier than expected, anticipation around the conclusion of the docuseries continues to build.
