Kate Middleton has paid a deeply personal tribute to those who have lost their lives to cancer by leaving a handwritten note at a memorial, offering comfort and compassion to grieving families.

The Princess of Wales, who has spoken openly about the impact cancer has had on her life, used the gesture to quietly honor victims and acknowledge the lasting pain felt by their loved ones.

At the end of a video posted on the account of the Prince and Princess of Wales on Instagram, the handwritten note was seen.

“In loving memory of all those who have lost their lives to cancer - C,” it read.

“Thank you to all those who have contributed to the Ever After Garden, which raises vital funds for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Every flower, every light, is a memory held together, an illumination of shared love, remembrance, and hope - C,” Kate wrote in the post’s caption.

Kate’s tribute comes amid her continued focus on causes related to health, early childhood and emotional well-being.

In recent years, she has shown consistent support for cancer charities and initiatives, often highlighting the importance of compassion, community and mental health support for those navigating illness or grief.
