Love Island USA stars Chelley Bissainthe and Ace Greene have officially confirmed their split.

Bissainthe, 28, announced the news during an interview with SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio, explaining that the decision was mutual and made with respect for one another.

“When you love someone, sometimes loving someone means letting go,” Bissainthe said. She described the decision as difficult but necessary, adding that both she and Greene wanted the relationship to work, but circumstances led them to part ways. The pair continue to maintain a “mutual level of respect and understanding,” according to Bissainthe.

Greene, 23, and Bissainthe first connected on season 7 of Love Island USA, which aired from June to August. The fan-favorite couple became official on the show and left the island together on day 30. Their romance quickly garnered attention from fans, who have followed their relationship closely since the season ended.

Bissainthe emphasized that the breakup was carefully considered, with the couple taking into account their supporters and fans. She noted that while details of the split are private, they both agreed it was the best path forward. “Sometimes we want it to last a lifetime and sometimes it’s just for that moment in time,” she said.
