'Green on blue attack' on American soil

Gandhi was killed by Godse, who was a Hindu just like Gandhi was. Charlie Kirk was assassinated on the eve of September 11 anniversary this year by a white fundamentalist, who was the very kind that Charlie was defending through his otherwise ridiculous arguments. The attack on US guardsmen near the White House by an Afghan immigrant reveals a lot more than what meets the eye.

Despite the fact that he was once working for the CIA while in Afghanistan, his actions have resulted in creating this anti-Afghan narrative. Trump has blocked immigration from Afghanistan and many other countries in the wake of this DC attack.

What is completely missed from the discussions of the American mainstream media is the fact that this man was one of the acceptable and welcomed immigrants into American society. America has had a tradition of falling in love with those people in other countries who speak and work against their own countries especially when the regime in those countries are hated in Washington DC.

Rehmanullah Lakanwal is a man who sided against his own soil. He aided the occupiers and invaders of his own land. That is the character of that man. America rewarded a man like that by embracing him into the American society. When you welcome disloyal and immoral people into your society, you are going to have disloyal and immoral citizens. The so-called land of the free and home of the brave becomes a meaningless and fictitious idea when you fill your home with cowards.

A man who attacks innocent people is nothing but a coward, which is what Lakanwal is. Brave are the ones who fought against the mightiest army in the history of mankind and didn't trade their soil for benefits in the shining city on a hill.

The noise about blaming the entire society because of the action of this filth is completely misguided. This was the kind of Afghan that was acceptable to America because he facilitated the nefarious and immoral work of the occupiers of that land. Just like a below average graduate student from an American or European school can become a successful scholar in Third World countries, America is like the Third World country for patriotic standards. The traitors in foreign lands become revered citizens of America.

The Afghanistan I know is a nation full of brave and patriotic people who would rather die instead of allowing foreign invaders to occupy their land. The Afghans I know are the ones who fought the British, the Soviets and the Americans and expelled their drafted and misled soldiers from their land. Please do not insult the intelligence of those who know the history and the truth by making a case that coward Lakanwal represents the entire Afghan society. A man who joins the team that kills his own people and later kills the same people that helped him immigrate to the land of opportunities is the kind of coward that remains loyal to nobody.

During the occupation of Afghanistan by the American and other armies, there used to be a phrase often seen in the mainstream newspapers at the time: "green on blue attacks", which meant that while the foreign occupying forces were training the Afghan soldiers, who were basically the same types as Lakanwal, some of them would turn against their trainers and kill them. Many foreign occupation soldiers died in such attacks when the green uniform-wearing Afghan soldiers would kill the blue uniform-wearing American and other soldiers.

The DC attack was not much different. This was the same man that America had taken under its wings for his loyal service to the invaders of his land. And then that loyal dog bit its own masters. What the American government fails to understand is that a man who can't be loyal to his own soil can never be loyal to the soil of a state whose citizenship he acquires. Their DNA doesn't change. Only their passport does.
