Skibidi Toilet creator Alexey Gerasimov reportedly lost control of the series after signing with Invisible Narratives

Skibidi Toilet, one of the internet’s most unexpected breakout animation franchises, is facing a major controversy as fans fear that the creator, DaFuq!?Boom!, may no longer control the series.

The creator—real name Alexey Gerasimov—reportedly signed a contract with Michael Bay’s entertainment company, Invisible Narratives. According to widespread Discord messages circulating online, fans believe this agreement has resulted in Gerasimov losing creative ownership and management access to the Skibidi Toilet brand.

Skibidi Toilet has become a digital sensation with millions of dedicated viewers and even a film adaptation in development. However, in recent days, multiple screenshots shared by content creator Eliteblueguy! appear to show Gerasimov expressing serious concerns about the partnership. In these messages, he claims that he is being excluded from development updates, script progress, and creative decision-making related to the Skibidi Toilet movie. He also suggests that production has stalled, saying he feels “isolated from the process” and has received “no concepts, no updates” regarding the project.

Fans have launched petitions and pushed the hashtag #bringboomback, calling for Gerasimov to regain control. Another alleged message later shows Gerasimov asking that earlier negative statements be deleted, which some supporters interpret as the result of pressure from Invisible Narratives. Additional screenshots also indicate that the creator is not being paid or receiving revenue from the deal, referring to himself as “broke.”

For now, Invisible Narratives has not issued a public statement addressing the allegations. TheGamer has reached out to the company for comment, leaving fans waiting to see whether the legal and creative dispute will be resolved and whether Gerasimov will regain control of his digital phenomenon.
