Latin singer DELAROSA killed amid ambush in Los Angeles
The 22-year-old 'No Me Llames' singer was fatally shot in an ambush-style attack, authorities state

22-year-old Latin musician Maria De La Rosa, popularly known as DELAROSA succumbed to her injuries after being shot in an ambush-style attack in the San Fernando Valley early Saturday morning, local media reports. The attack left two others critically wounded.
DELAROSA passed away at a local hospital whilst sitting injured in a parked vehicle in Northridge, the Los Angeles Police Department repors. The shooting took place just before 1:30 am on Saturday, police revealed in a Monday morning statement.
Witnesses tell authorities that two men approached the vehicle at around 1:25 am and fired multiple round targeting all three passengers.
Police reveal that DELAROSA was rushed to a hospital in the vicinity where she was pronounced dead while the two other unidentified victims remained in critical condition.
The emerging artist, with over 40,000 Instagram followers, released her first song "No Me Llames" ("Don't Call Me") in August and was seemingly working on new music based on her final Instagram post.
“Ocupando cocinando en el Stu … Ya es tiempo," she wrote. “Busy cooking in the [studio] … It's about time."
According to NBC Los Angeles, detectives believe the shooting was gang related, however, the motive is under investigation and no arrests have been made.
