PML-N's Azma rebuffs K-P CM's claims

LAHORE:

Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari has declared Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Sohail Afridi "a habitual liar like his leader" Imran Khan.

Responding to a statement of Afridi, she said the CM is accusing Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz only to divert attention from the notice he has received from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for allegedly trying to influence by-polls in the K-P.

"Maryam has not inaugurated any development project in Lahore or in any city where by-elections are being held," she added. She said Sohail Afridi himself threatened government officers, telling them they "won't see tomorrow's sun".
