Keith Urban breaks social media silence following Nicole Kidman divorce
Keith Urban breaks social media silence, pokes fun at his ’90s looks in new video

Keith Urban has shared his first social media post since his divorce from Nicole Kidman, almost two months after the announcement in September.
The country music star posted a playful Instagram video on Sunday, poking fun at his past hairstyles and fashion choices from the ’90s.
The clip, featuring Blake Shelton, comes from Urban’s new CBS show The Road, which follows 12 emerging musicians competing as opening acts for the Grammy-winning singer.
“You and I have both been in Nashville since the ‘90s and we went through some awkward phases,” Shelton jokes in the video, revealing Urban’s early photos with long, straight blond hair and a distinctive vest.
Urban laughed along, joking, “I can’t understand why I wasn’t getting signed.” Shelton then teased that it might be time for a fresh look, noting, “You’ve had the same hair since 2001, man.”
Before this post, Urban had remained quiet online since September 27, when he shared a promotional snippet for The Road.
Kidman filed for divorce in Nashville on September 30, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple, married in 2006, share two daughters, 17-year-old Sunday and 14-year-old Faith.
According to leaked filings obtained by TMZ, Kidman is seeking primary custody of the children, though she is not requesting child support. Both report monthly incomes exceeding $100,000.
Despite their separation, both Kidman and Urban have continued with their public lives, Kidman attending Paris Fashion Week and Urban touring with his High and Alive World music tour.
