Pakistan Women's U19 probables announced for five-match away T20 series
Former Shaheens coach Masroor will be the head coach for the camp and tour

The Pakistan Cricket Board has unveiled 20 probables for Pakistan Women’s U19 tour to Bangladesh with five T20 games set to be played from December 3-12 at Cox’s Bazar Academy Ground between the two teams.
Pakistan U19 players are set to take part in a 14-day intensive training camp at the Hanif Mohammad High-Performance Centre in Karachi starting from Saturday, November 15.
Former Pakistan men’s U19 and Shaheens coach Muhammad Masroor will be the head coach for the camp and tour, while he will be accompanied by former Pakistan women’s international Jaweria Rauf (fielding coach) and former first-class players Shoaib Khan (batting coach) and Naeem Tayyab (bowling coach) in the support staff.
The 20-player contingent includes six batters, four pacers, five spinners, three all-rounders and two wicketkeepers. PCB’s Women’s National Selection Committee will further finalise the 15-member travelling squad in due course.
Among the probables, 10 players including Aleesa Mukhtiar, Areesha Ansari, Fizza Fiaz, Komal Khan, Mahnoor Zeb, Memoona Khalid, Ravail Farhan, Rozina Akram, Shahar Bano, and Zoofishan Ayyaz have been part of previous Pakistan U19 squads.
The fortnight camp not just comprises of specialised fitness, fielding, batting and bowling sessions in group as well as individual capacity but also multiple T20 warm-up matches, off-field lectures on playing conditions, code of conduct and involves media training too.
The players have been shortlisted after the four-team 15-match U19 T20 tournament in September and October and a 20-day skills and fitness camp for 30 U19 players in Karachi, which concluded on November 6.
A 15-member Pakistan Women’s U19 squad will depart for Bangladesh on Saturday, November 29 from Karachi.
