Roadside bomb hits ANP leader's vehicle in Swat

Explosive planted approximately 300 feet from his residence detonated, no casualties confirmed yet, car damaged

A roadside bomb exploded in Shakardara, Matta area of Swat, damaging the vehicle of Awami National Party leader Mumtaz Ali Khan on Wednesday. No casualties have been confirmed as yet.

Police said Khan was en route to attend a funeral when the explosive, planted approximately 300 feet from his residence, detonated.

 

A heavy contingent of police reached the site and initiated investigation.
