Shehbaz confers with Zardari on security situation

ISLAMABAD:

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called on President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday and discussed the overall political and security situation in country, and reaffirmed their resolve to continue action against terrorists and their facilitators until the complete elimination of the menace.

The meeting took place at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, where the two leaders discussed the prevailing situation in the country. The meeting took place after two major terrorist attacks on the Cadet College in Wana, South Waziristan and the courthouse in Islamabad.

Expressing grave concern over the recent wave of terrorism, they reiterated their determination to take decisive action against foreign-backed militants.
