Fabio Jackson denies being related to Michael Jackson, praises Jaafar’s casting in upcoming biopic
Michael Jackson impersonator Fabio Jackson has denied rumors that he is related to the late pop icon, clarifying that their striking resemblance is purely coincidental.
The viral look-alike also addressed recent speculation about his reaction to the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic, in which the King of Pop will be portrayed by his real-life nephew, Jaafar Jackson.
Fabio, 32, said he’s fully supportive of Jaafar’s casting and dismissed claims that he felt jealous or “salty” about it. “I’m not gonna be ambitious about any movie at all in today’s age,” he said. “Even though Michael’s biopic is probably going to be one of the best movies out there, it’s good to keep your expectations down.”

The impersonator also spoke about his long career embodying Michael’s signature look and moves, explaining that while he underwent a rhinoplasty to achieve a closer resemblance, he has never claimed to share a family connection with the Jacksons.
Social media users had speculated about Fabio’s supposed discomfort after his muted reaction to the biopic’s teaser went viral. He laughed off the claims, saying, “I didn’t even say anything,” and emphasized that he sees “a lot of potential” in the film.
With the highly anticipated biopic set for release in 2026, Fabio continues to honor Michael Jackson’s legacy through his performances, while expressing excitement about seeing Jaafar bring his uncle’s story to life on the big screen.
