Millie Bobby Brown channels her “inner Tom Cruise” for final season of Stranger Things
Millie Bobby Brown reveals intense physical training for the final season of Stranger Things at Netflix event

Millie Bobby Brown is stepping into full action mode for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things.
During a Netflix For Your Consideration (FYC) event in Hollywood, the 20-year-old actress revealed she “channeled her inner Tom Cruise” while preparing for the show’s last chapter.
Joined by co-stars Noah Schnapp, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, and Jamie Campbell Bower, along with creators Ross and Matt Duffer and producer Shawn Levy, Brown discussed how a decade on the series has built up to this moment. “I feel like the Duffers have been training me for this,” she said. “It was really exciting to be more of a resource this season — not just because of Eleven’s powers, but because of the physical training and discipline I’ve put myself through.”
Brown teased that Volume One of the season only scratches the surface of what’s to come, promising fans plenty of action and emotional payoff.
Meanwhile, Schnapp joked about his character Will Byers’ suffering, quipping, “I love when I get to smile on the show,” while the Duffers teased they’d have written him out if there were a season six.
The Duffer Brothers also announced Linda Hamilton has joined the cast, calling her “a true ’80s legend” and a physically formidable addition to the series. They also revealed the inclusion of child actress Nell Fisher to recapture the youthful energy of the first season.
The final season of Stranger Things will stream on Netflix in three parts — debuting on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve 2025.
