Kim Kardashian to open 15 SKIMS stores across Israel by 2026 amid Gaza crisis

Netizens condemned Kardashian, and called for her brand to be added to the official BDS list

Kim Kardashian has come under fire and faces boycott for her plans to expand the shapewear brand SKIMS in Israel while its atrocities in Gaza continue.

It was recently announced that the reality TV star's SKIMS is set to open 15 stores across Israel by 2026, amid the humanitarian crisis and violence in the occupied West Bank and Gaza.

According to several reports, the brand signed a partnership deal with Irani Corp, which will oversee the its expansion in the Israeli market in the upcoming years.

Irani Corp is renowned for bringing international fashion brands to Israel.

While the products are already available online, store locations are set to launch across the country soon, including those at Glilot Mall and Ramat Aviv Mall.

The news has sparked backlash and calls for boycott, as Israel continues its violence on Palestinian territory.

Since October 2023, Israel has killed at least 68,800 Palestinians and injured over 100,000 others with 80 percent of buildings destroyed. Amid famine and displacement, the actual death toll is believed to be much higher.

Several human rights groups have declared the crisis a genocide uncluding Amnestry International. 

While many internet users condemned Kardashian, other called for her brand to be added to the official Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) list.

Earlier, Kardashian received was slammed, for saying she was "praying for everyone in Israel" when the country launched its attack on Palestinians.
