Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour appeared united on the red carpet at the world premiere of Stranger Things Season 5 in Los Angeles, following reports of tension between the two actors.

The pair, who play Eleven and Jim Hopper in the Netflix hit, arrived together on Thursday warmly embracing and sharing laughs as fans cheered. Videos posted by Netflix and the show’s official social media accounts captured their friendly exchange, easing speculation that their relationship had soured.

Neither Brown, Harbour, nor Netflix have directly addressed the allegations, however director Shawn Levy said that some stories about the report are "wildly inaccurate".

In a resurfaced 2024 interview, Brown’s awkward reaction to a joke about Harbour officiating her wedding to Jake Bongiovi had reignited rumours of strain. Instead, actor Matthew Modine performed the ceremony earlier this year.

Despite the controversy, the two stars presented a united front at the premiere, signalling a professional reconciliation as Stranger Things prepares to close one of television’s most successful runs.
