ATC issues non-bailable arrest warrant for Aleema Khan for eighth time

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Flight PK-859, travelling from Lahore to Jeddah, was struck by a bird mid-flight. As a result, the aircraft was diverted to Karachi Jinnah International Airport as a precautionary measure.
The collision with the bird has caused severe damage to the aircraft's windscreen. Repairs to the aircraft are expected to take around 12 hours.
According to sources, 344 passengers were on board, all of whom have been transferred to a hotel.
