Aardman unveils first look at Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom, a spooky new movie coming Halloween 2026

Aardman Animations, Sky, and Studiocanal have unveiled the first look at Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom, a brand-new stop motion feature set to premiere on Halloween 2026.

The film marks the third cinematic outing for the beloved Aardman character, following Shaun the Sheep Movie (2015) and A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon (2019).

Sky will serve as the exclusive UK distributor, releasing the film in cinemas and on Sky Cinema, while Studiocanal will handle global distribution outside the UK.

The Beast of Mossy Bottom sees the residents of Mossy Bottom Farm gearing up for Halloween — until chaos strikes when the Farmer accidentally destroys the flock’s prized pumpkin patch. Determined to save the celebration, Shaun transforms into a “mad scientist” to fix the mess. But when his experiment spirals out of control, the Farmer goes missing, and a mysterious beast begins terrorizing the woods of Mossingham.
