Sindh launches digital portal for govt jobs
.

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Tuesday inaugurated the Sindh Job Portal (SJP) — a fully digital platform aimed at ensuring merit-based, transparent and efficient recruitment across all provincial departments.
Speaking at the launch ceremony at the CM House, Shah said the initiative reflects the vision of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto's slogan, "Benazir aayi hai, rozgar laayi hai."
He said the system makes the hiring process more accessible and transparent through technology. Candidates who fail an exam can retake it multiple times, with the Sindh government covering the cost of the first attempt. So far, over 326,000 candidates have passed tests under the new system, with fresh exams to be held monthly and results issued immediately afterward.
The chief minister explained that applicants' documents — including academic certificates, CNICs and domiciles — will be uploaded to an independent portal, creating a verified database of eligible candidates. Successful candidates can then apply directly for government vacancies. Departments will post new job openings on the portal, automatically updated once approved by the finance department.
