Seven terrorists killed in Bajaur, Dalbandin
Six killed as gunmen ambush vehicle in Waziristan

Security forces carried out successful operations in Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), killing six terrorists in Dalbandin and destroying multiple militant hideouts in Bajaur, according to security sources on Wednesday.
In Balochistan's Dalbandin area, security forces launched a precise operation against the network Fitna al-Hindustan and successfully dismantled its formation. Sources said that all six terrorists were killed as a result of timely and effective action.
"The militants had taken refuge in a mountain cave, which remained under constant aerial surveillance before being struck at the appropriate moment," a source revealed. The sources described the success as a result of exceptional coordination and effective communication between the security forces and intelligence agencies.
Meanwhile, in Bajaur, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Shahi Tangi forest, targeting hideouts of the Khawarij – a term used for the terrorists belonging to the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
According to the sources, the forces ambushed a cave used by the militants, triggering a heavy exchange of fire that resulted in the killing of one militant, while others escaped in injured condition.
The sources added that security forces cleared the entire area of terrorist hideouts and tunnels, and nearby locations. Weapons, explosives, and communication devices used by the terrorists were also seized during the operation.
Security officials reiterated that the Pakistan Army and security agencies remain resolute in their commitment to completely eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.
Mir Ali attack
Six people were killed when unidentified gunmen ambushed a vehicle in Mir Ali, North Waziristan tribal district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, on Wednesday, in one of the deadliest recent attacks in the tribal district of the province.
Police said the incident occurred near Epi village, where armed men opened indiscriminate fire on a double-cabin pickup truck. The intense volley of bullets killed all six occupants instantly. After the shooting, the attackers doused the vehicle with petrol and set it on fire, leaving the bodies badly charred and unrecognizable.
District Police Officer (DPO) Waqar Ahmed confirmed the attack, adding that the assailants managed to flee before law enforcement arrived. The bodies were shifted to Mir Ali Hospital for identification.
Though police have yet to determine the motive, local sources said the victims were reportedly associated with a local peace committee, groups that have previously been targeted by terrorists for supporting government efforts against insurgency.
Following the attack, police and security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. Authorities said investigations are underway to ascertain the identities of the perpetrators and the cause of the attack, which has triggered fear and tension in the region.
