Dar for deepening ties with EU, Japan

ISLAMABAD:

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (DPM/FM) Ishaq Dar on Monday reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to further deepening Pakistan-EU cooperation, including under the GSP+ framework.

The DPM/FM received and congratulated the newly appointed EU Ambassador to Pakistan Raimundas Karoblis," Foreign Office spokesperson said in a statement.

Separately, Japanese Ambassador Akamatsu Shuichi Monday called on DPM/FM and exchanged views on key regional and international developments. During the meeting, Dar encouraged efforts to further deepen Pakistan–Japan relations across diverse areas.
