Jennifer Lopez says she’ll never join celebrity dating app Raya, ‘I’m old-fashioned’
Jennifer Lopez says she’s too old-fashioned for celebrity dating app Raya, preferring love the traditional way

Jennifer Lopez has made it clear that fans shouldn’t expect to see her on a dating app anytime soon. Speaking on The Howard Stern Show on October 15, the 56-year-old actress and singer laughed off the idea of joining Raya, the exclusive app used by many celebrities looking for love.
When Stern asked if she would ever consider signing up, Lopez quickly replied, “No, I don’t want that.” She then added, “I don’t know, I’m just old-fashioned, I guess,” suggesting she prefers meeting people the traditional way.
During the candid conversation, Lopez reflected on her love life and what she’s learned from her past relationships, including marriages to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd, Marc Anthony and, most recently, Ben Affleck. “What I learned, it’s not that I’m not lovable. It’s that they’re not capable,” she told Stern, adding that her former partners “need to love the little person inside of them.”
Lopez admitted she’s always been someone who wears her heart on her sleeve, both personally and creatively. “All my songs are about love,” she confirmed, acknowledging that her romantic experiences have long inspired her music.
The Kiss of the Spider Woman star also revealed she’s grown more private in recent years, explaining, “I feel like I want to keep that part so much more quiet in my life. The truth is, when you’re in this type of career and have this level of fame, there’s a compromise.”
Lopez and Ben Affleck finalised their divorce in January 2025 after separating in August 2024, though the two reunited publicly earlier this month at the New York premiere of Kiss of the Spider Woman, which they both produced.
As for Stern’s remark that she would have “no problem meeting guys,” Lopez responded confidently: “I’ll be fine.” For now, the singer appears content focusing on her projects, including her upcoming films Office Romance, The Last Mrs. Parrish and The Godmother.
