Country guitarist Maggie Baugh is no longer performing on Keith Urban’s High and Alive World Tour following recent speculation surrounding the country star’s divorce from Nicole Kidman and unfounded affair rumours.

Baugh, who began collaborating with Urban in 2024 after joining him on stage at the CMT Music Awards, became a regular performer in his touring band. Fans noted her absence from Urban’s latest shows and the removal of “The Fighter” from his setlist, a song previously dedicated to Kidman.

The rumours began circulating after footage from past concerts appeared online, showing Urban changing lyrics and gesturing towards Baugh during performances. Although neither artist has publicly commented, Baugh’s father denied the allegations outright, writing, “NO. Just No.”

While Baugh has not addressed the speculation herself, her past comments about maintaining professional boundaries have resurfaced.

Amid the attention, Baugh has shifted her focus to her solo career. She released her new single “The Devil Win” on October 10, a reflective track about resisting temptation and emotional struggles.

She performed at the Grand Ole Opry on October 15 and will headline a show in Carmel, Indiana, on October 17 — the same night Urban performs in Nashville.

Reports suggest Baugh has no confirmed plans to return to Urban’s tour, with another band member temporarily taking her place.
