Rapper Skrilla claims viral 6 7 song will feature in GTA 6 soundtrack
Rapper Skrilla has claimed that his viral track ‘Doot Doot (6 7)’ will appear in Grand Theft Auto 6, after the song became a widely shared meme online.
Soundtracks have always been a key part of Grand Theft Auto’s identity, with previous games such as Vice City, San Andreas, and GTA 5 featuring well-known tracks and fictional radio stations that became fan favourites.
As anticipation builds for the release of GTA 6, players have been speculating about which artists might appear in the upcoming game.
So far, six songs have featured in the trailers released by Rockstar Games, though several other artists have been rumoured. Among them are Drake and DJ Khaled, who fans believe could host in-game radio stations.
Skrilla addressed the speculation during an appearance on Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast, stating that his song had been included in the next GTA instalment. “I’m waiting for GTA 6 to come out… 6 7 is on there, too,” he told the hosts.
When comedian Shane Gillis asked whether the game was set in Florida — a location Skrilla had mentioned throughout the conversation — the rapper nodded and replied, “Yeah, 6 7 is on there. I’m going to be my own person on there, playing my own music.”
The statement quickly circulated on social media, with fans debating whether the claim is genuine or part of the ongoing meme surrounding the song.
Rockstar Games has not commented on Skrilla’s remarks, and no official soundtrack details have been released. Grand Theft Auto 6 is currently scheduled for release in May 2026, following a delay from its original late-2025 launch window.
