Doechii’s DJ, Miss Milan, is firing back at Joe Budden after he claimed that the rapper hasn’t been active lately.
During a recent episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, the host questioned why “nobody’s heard from Doechii,” calling her career progress “kind of fishy.” His comments quickly drew backlash from fans and peers alike — especially from Miss Milan, who didn’t hold back in her response.
Taking to social media, the “BOOM BAP” producer blasted Budden’s remarks and reminded everyone of Doechii’s accomplishments this year. “Joe you snapping turtle headas btch, you SAW & HEARD of her ALL YEAR,” she wrote. Milan went on to list Doechii’s impressive achievements, including her Grammy win for Alligator Bites Never Heal, festival performances at Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits, and her sold-out GNX Tour.
Miss Milan also praised Budden’s co-hosts for not engaging with his comments, suggesting he was trying to stir unnecessary controversy. “What’s obvious is that he had no talking point and wanted to stir up some bullsh*t,” she wrote.
Fans quickly rallied behind Milan, echoing her defense of the Florida rapper’s strong year. Many noted that Doechii has been one of the most visible female artists of 2025, with multiple award wins and upcoming international tour dates alongside Kendrick Lamar in Australia this December.
Despite the criticism, Doechii has stayed silent, continuing to focus on her music and performances — letting her achievements speak for themselves.
